Lazy Shando

Yes, yes it has been way too long since I last wrote and I don't even have a good excuse. I have just been too lazy to sit down and write. And since it has been so long I'm not even sure I can remember everything that has happened this past week.

I do know that I am trying to get back on a normal work out schedule since I have been on so many vacations seem to get thrown off again every time I go away. I did manage to work out 5 times last week, which hasn't happened in a long, long time. One of those work outs was going for a walk with Mo and Taca at Sharon Woods. Mo did most of the stroller pushing so she got more of a work out than I did. It was a fun time walking together and not a pain to get out of the house with a baby, at least not as much as I thought it would be. Mo thought it was bad, but really it wasn't and hopefully we can do it again sometime. Taca behaved very well too!

Ando and I also had the gang over for dinner one night. We made some flank steak on the grill with some green beans, but no starch. I am sure my parents wouldn't approve of that. For dessert we had some ice cream with fruit over it. I made my own fruit salad since I hate what you buy pre-made at the store; it is always just a bunch of melon, especially cantaloupe.

The week also brought on me deciding to not drink so much beer. I want to look good in my wedding dress so I am going to try and drink mostly vodka sodas till the wedding. Don't get me wrong though I am sure a beer will still make it in every now and then; I am just trying to cut back a little.

Friday was finally the dreaded day of wedding dress shopping. I went with my sis and Jenster to bridal row or whatever it is called. Jenster made lunch for us first before we headed to the stores. When I walked in it was everything I thought it would be.....hell! There were dresses everywhere and I had no idea where to begin. There were way too many brides and their friends/family giddy about wedding dress shopping too. At one point I just wanted to high tail it out of there. I stayed and made it through though. I would say I tried on about 15 to 20 dresses and ended up buying one that was half off straight from the rack. I am not sure I should have made this decision though because now I am regretting it a little. I feel I should have looked at more stores and tried on every possibility out there. And I'm not sure how everyone is going to react to the fact that there is black on the dress too. I can't put a picture up for everyone because I don't want Ando to know what it looks like, sorry. And I am going back out on Wednesday to make sure I have seen everything and made the right decision. If I find something I like more I will think it over this time before diving right into purchasing and I guess try to sell the other one on ebay or something. We'll see what happens.

On Saturday after work, my last Saturday of the summer :), I met up with Ando, Jenster, Brentano and DA for some mini-golf. Sorry I can't call it putt-putt since it is not a licensed course. They were gracious enough to wait for me before starting their round. I hadn't played mini-golf since Hilton Head so it was a nice change of pace. I started off horribly, but made a strong comeback; it still wasn't enough though and I ended up coming in fourth, but not by many. Ando won of course since he is the one that takes mini-golf so seriously.

Work is calling and there really isn't anything else very interesting to write about so I will leave you for now. Oh, the pantry is almost finished! Yep, amazingly one of the many started projects is almost completed. I will write more about it later and try to show some pictures.

I tried on a ton of wedding dresses and most fit; guess that means I'm not pregnant.

Hey, you didn't use the tag line I suggested :( I also hated wedding dress shopping. I'm going to have to sneak a peak at your dress this weekend.
