I just wanted to write a little bit about some stuff I forgot to tell all of you the other day. It once again comes from Saturday at the Grandma Death Party. There was some reminiscing going on when someone found a card that said something about writing an ejaculation. Apparently in the old days a small prayer such as "Jesus, Mary and Joseph Pray for Us" was know as an ejaculation. Why would the church ever call short prayers that. They must have figured out it was a bad name because I was never taught such a thing in all my years of Catholic schooling. I hope everyone out there starts doing more ejaculations.
The second story happened on Sunday when Ando and some of his relatives went to BW's to watch the Xavier game. We all ordered some beers and were waiting for the game to come on. Math went to ask the bartender if he could turn the game on because for some reason they were showing a Big Ten game instead. He was mean to Math, but eventually the game was put on a couple TV's. The good part is when we were paying our waitress told us we were "awesome". I'm not really sure why we were so awesome, but I have a feeling it was because we didn't really complain. I gave Math a high five because we were so awesome. I now expect everyone to think this way about me, I will hear nothing else.
Ando keeps saying he is in over his head with freelance work; He isn't in over his head with wedding plans, no ring.
P.S. I am going to try and not have a run on as my last sentence thanks to Mo. How did I do?
I decided to start a blog....well, because I could. Everyone else has a blog about their life so why can't I. My life is exciting/boring and now everyone will know about it.

I'm Baaaack
Yes, that's right I am returning to my blogging ways. However I can no longer promise a new blog everyday. I will only have new posts when I have time and/or something interesting and fun happens that I think you should all know about.
Here are a few things that happened during my hiatus. I worked a whole bunch and of course had to work on a Saturday again. This did mean I had the day off on Friday so I went and got my hair cut. I was going to get it done earlier in the week, but my hair cutter canceled on me. I took this as a sign not to go back to her and make an appointment with Ando's cousin, Em. I wasn't too happy with what my old hair dresser had be doing to my hair and was reluctant to make and appointment in the first place. This was the perfect opportunity for a change. I went to Salon Urbanity off of Pete Rose Way for my first hair cut with Em. I didn't get it cut too short, but I did go with a longer bob, sorry Teed. It has more layers in the back and is a little longer in the front. I like it plus it was 50% off since it was my first hair cut. I will definitely be going back to Em.
Ando and I actually went on a date Friday night as well. We got some sushi, which we were both craving for quite some time, at Asiana. It wasn't very crowded, probably because of the weather and service was very fast, at least for Asiana. I think I am using too many comas, but maybe Mo could tell me since she teaches English.
Saturday was the annual, how do I put this, Ando Grandma's death party? All of Ando's relatives get together to celebrate the life and anniversary of his Grandma's death. This is really weird, but not really for Ando's family if you know them. I was wondering who brought the cake, but apparently no one did. At the party I was talking to one of Ando's cousins and she was telling me about "Dance Party Friday's". On channel 12 every Friday morning the traffic guy dances to a different song while giving the traffic update. I couldn't believe it, but she sent me some links and if you go to YouTube and search for Dance Party Friday you will also be amazed. I still can't believe this happens. Enjoy a nice laugh, I did.
Last night I found out that Wint and Wendall have started reading my blog, so welcome to both of you. Wint had to stop by to pick up a Bass that Ando still had. It is "Crazy Cat Man's" Bass, but Wint needed it to do some recording. I hope I gave him the right Bass bag for it. Ando also has a Bass sitting up in the second bedroom with a Bass bag as well. What a nice refreshing change of pace to see Wint on a Monday night :)
I only have one more thing, and blogging tomorrow probably won't happen since I have to go to Columbus for work tomorrow. I will be gone 8 or 9 hours and not have much time for such tasks as blogging. Ok now my rant; I hate how it is so hard to find a mechanic that doesn't either try to rip you off or pull something over on you. I needed to get my oil changed so I took my car to Bob Sumerel since they have a buy one get one, BOGO, promotion going on right now. When then called me to tell me my car was finished they also said I have an after market oil plug in my pan. It is no longer the original plug, someone earlier must have stripped my old plug and just put a different one on. I am sure this happened when I got my last oil change at Firestone. I brought my car home and noticed it was leaking so took it back to Firestone for them to fix. They must have fucked up my car and fixed it with whatever they had. If this plug breaks I am going to be pissed. Why can't "people" do things right and not try to fuck you over. Alright my rant is over, sorry.
I am so sick of the cold weather, Ando didn't try to cheer my up and bring some sunshine to my life with a sparkly diamond ring.

Hiatus
Ando yelled at me three times about my blog yesterday. It is putting a strain on our relationship so I am going to stop blogging for awhile, sorry.

I had another indoor soccer game yesterday. This one was at a more reasonable time, 1:10pm not 1:10am. I made my way to the Tri-County Sports Plex and only 2 teammates were there when I arrived. I thought we weren't going to have enough players to even play. Everyone showed up right on time and we had more than enough players to field a team. As the game was about to get started a guy from the opposing team ran across the field to his bench. Much to my surprise it was [deleted because I was told to]. Good thing Ando didn't come to watch me play. We were both in the game at the same time and on the same side of the field when he said hi to me. I was going to try and ignore the situation hoping he wouldn't recognize me, but I guess I couldn't. We had some pleasantries during the game, but not too much since we were trying to play soccer. Our team won 4-0 and the other team was none too happy about it. They were pushing a lot and getting very upset. I scored my first goal ever as an indoor soccer player too. It was a rebound off someone else's shot, but hey a goal is a goal and I am going to take it.
After soccer I just lazed around the house. Ando was complaining about not doing anything so we decided to go for a walk. It wasn't currently raining and we both needed some fresh air. As soon as we walked outside to walk it started pouring again. That's our luck. It was still warm out so I sat on the front porch and did some reading. It was nice sitting out there hearing the rain and reading. It made me long for the Spring when I can do it more.
Not much happened after that just dinner and some television watching with Murphy. And of course a little more reading before bedtime.
My 11th shirt is striped, but not horizontally like all of the others. I was told that stripes are
stripes no matter if they are horizontal or vertical. This is a work shirt that I bought for $5 at New York & CO. I couldn't pass up a dress shirt for $5. I have worn it to a Trustee's meeting already even though I bought it at the end of January. Don't be fooled there are no buttons up the front, those types of shirts are hard for me to wear. My top is way too big for the bottom of the shirts so I look pregnant most of the time or the middle buttons bulge so there is a huge gap. Ladies know what I am talking about. This shirt zips on the side.
Ando drew a ring around my finger with the DS stylus, if only I would have gotten a real one.

10 stripes
I decided to go with my fam yesterday to Dayton to watch the Temple vs. Dayton Basketball game. My cousin, Fran, coaches Temple and got all 8 of us tickets. Our seats were right behind the bench. Litterally they weren't even in the stands they were on the floor behind the bench. We had to try to look through tall ass basketball players to see what was going on. My grandma couldn't see anything and wanted to move up into the first row of seats. No one was sitting there with 10 minutes left in the first half so I moved with her to the first row. A couple of minutes later 3 guys came and we had to move down a couple of seats. When there was only 2 minutes left in the half 5 or 6 more guys showed up so we had to move back down to court level. At halftime someone else in the section over in the first row told us we could sit next to her. She was also a friend of Fran's; her dad went to college with Fran. Luckily we didn't have to move this time and got to watch the rest of the game, actually watch it.
After the game, which Temple lost :(, we waited around to see Fran. It was nice catching up with him since we haven't seen him in about a year. None of the relatives from Philly were able to make it in unfourtunatley. We left the arena and had dinner at the restaurant inside the Mariott Hotel. There's nothing qute like a hotel retaurante. Especially when all they really have is pasta and I am not a big fan of pasta. Dinner took longer than I expected, even though I should have known better.
When I got back to the 'Nati I headed to Teed and Mo's to hang out. Teed, Mo, Jenster and Ando had eaten yet so I got to watch them eat dinner, fun, fun! There were many one liners being thrown out; I wish I would have written them all down. Teed had most of them: "You can add water to anything", "Every little girl loves Unicorn's", and many many more that I am sure you had to be there to get. We also played Cranium Pop 5 and Ando and I were on the same team. Needless to say we lost, but tried to make a late comeback.
My 10 shirt is the essence of Shando. It is striped, 3/4 in. sleeve and has a collar. I got this shirt at Target, It is the first one too Mo, on the sale rack. Ando calls it my Xavier band shirt because the Xavier Pep Band wear similar shirts, but of course they are more blue; mine is more green.
Ando and I fought while on the same team, there wasn't a make up session involving a ring.

Striped Shirt 9
As I stated yesterday I had a busy day so here it goes. I woke up and went to a Blue Chip meeting on the B& B Riverboats at 10am. My boss gave me some directions, but I didn't trust them and took my way down to the boats. It turned out my way was correct and my boss was wrong. The meeting was a little painful and repetitive. I hate when people say the same thing over and over again.
After my meeting I went to lunch with my dad. We were going to go to Pacific Moon in Newport on the Levee, but when we got there they were closed. They have new winter hours and don't open for lunch during the week. I was upset because I wanted to try a new restaurant. After our disappointment we went to Claddagh Irish Pub instead. Claddagh is always good the few times I have been there.
Lunch was over with my dad, whom I offered to drive back downtown, but he refused and wanted to walk back across the bridge, and I was off to Meijer to buy soda and ice. I was in charge of these two items for DJ's going away/leaving "party". I didn't have much time because I had to be at work by 2 so it was in and out.
I got to work a little after 2, but no one was there to party yet so I was ok. I had to do a few work related items before joining the festivities as well. We had pizza and cake for DJ's last day, which technically isn't till Monday. The end of the party led straight to leaving for the Girls Basketball shoot. The game was at Harrison which requires us to leave a little earlier. The shoot was a little long and ugly basketball, unfortunately they won too.
After work Ando, Jenster and I went to The Hut to grab a couple of drinks. Teed met us later in the evening, after his dad dropped him off. I said I didn't want to drink a lot and Jenster said she didn't want to stay out very late which means we did both. I had three beers and then Teed bought me a shot, Joel never does that and we ended up staying at the bar till lights came on at 2:30. This late of a night could only mean one thing, Slider's. I got fries, Ando got one cheese burger, Teed had three cheese burgers and Jenster ordered 2 White Castles. When I was deciding what to order Teed decided I wanted a Lizard, I can't remember what kind, but everyone thought it was the funniest thing. Of course he made the lizard noise as well. It was now time for bed at 3am.
My ninth shirt is waffle wear from Gap. It is gray with small black stripes and one of the few long sleeve shirts I own. I say shirt and not sweater, most of my shirts are 3/4 in. sleeves. This shirt was on sale at the same time as striped shirt number 5. I like the neck line on this shirt that it doesn't go all the way to the base of my neck, I'm not sure what the correct terminology is for this type of neck line, but I like it.
Ando got paid yesterday, but didn't use any of the money on a ring for me.

Stripers 8
I was very busy today so tomorrow's blog should be fascinating. I also apologize that today's entry is so late in the day. Of course everyone knows yesterday was Valentine's Day. I went to work early in the day and left at 4:00 in order to drop tri-ax cables off to get repaired. I normally can make it to Cintas in 15 to 20 minutes, but yesterday it took me 45. I guess everyone had to rush home for those big Valentine's plans, how stupid.
After dropping off cables and running into my sister, quite unexpected, I went to Target to get Ando some stupid present. I got him a card, A gummy heart that was shaped like a real heart, and some Alka-Seltzer. I came home and gave him his gift and immediately felt shitty because my gifts were crap and he got me something real. Ando bought me a DS Game and a flowering cactus, because all the flowers looked crappy and picked over. Or maybe he was trying to tell me I am harsh like a cactus.
We made dinner together, salmon with quinoa, and I lit some candles for the table. They were just pillar candles and looked stupid really. After dinner we watched "Brokeback Mountain". I'm not sure what all the hype around this movie was. It was way too long, 2 hours and 15 minutes. In my opinion it could have easily been cut down to an hour and a half. Teed is right not to watch this one actually.
My 8th striped shirt, I bet you didn't think I had this many, is one you have already seen in the haircut blog so I am using a picture from this summer. It is another striped top from H&M. This one was on the clearance rack and I think my favorite H&M shirt I bought. BH also bought this shirt the same time I did. Luckily we haven't worn it at the same time. This could be because she lives in NYC and I don't see her that often.
Valentines Day, xoxoxo, what a romantic day, no ring or proposal.

Stripes x7
The morning was uneventful. Ando was not home this time around so I got to be in my normal routine without any problems. I lifted in the morning before heading to work and a Boys Tournament Basketball Game. The game was at Mason High School, aka The Airport. When we got there the gate we needed to drive the truck thorough wasn't open of course. We finally got the gate opened and made our way backk to the ice rink. Where we had to park was a solid sheet of ice. I was sure to fall at some point through the night. I was of course rooting for West to lose, but woe is me they won. Now they play again at Cintas Center on Monday. After our quick tear down, that's for you DJ, we wanted to leave, but of course two cars were blocking the gate we had to go back out of. As I was making my way to the gate I almost fell, and I mean I can't believe I didn't hit the ground. It was a 10 to 15 minute ordeal to find the drivers of the two cars to move and get out of our way so we could get the heck out of dodge.
I came home to an empty house except for Murphy; Ando was at band practice. I finished knitting my first handle for the bag and watched MythBuster's and Project Runway by myself. I then went off to bed with some more reading of "A Million Little Pieces", I know people don't know why I am reading it, but I just wanted to see what it was all about. I will give you my full report when I have finished, but as of right now it is a pretty fast read.
The seventh striped shirt is from GAP. It is a baby blue stripe with a lighter grayish blue stripe. I also purchased this shirt when it was on sale in the summer. I think this is the first shirt you have seen from me that isn't a scoop or V-Neck shirt as well. I like this shirt in the summer as a nice casual "put it on for the grocery" shirt.
Ando didn't have an opportunity to pop the question, he saw me from 11:40pm to midnight while I was in my PJ's.

Yesterday was a snow day, for Ando at least. I didn't have to go into work till 2 so it wasn't a snow day for me. I am not used to Ando being around all morning when I am also off. I have a little routine I do and Ando put a slight cramp in my style. It is weird how him just being around when I wasn't used to it threw a kink into my schedule.
I did Tae Bo in the morning and asked Ando if he wanted to join me. He begrudgingly agreed. He complained the whole time and kept trying to walk away. At least he did a little I guess. After Tae Bo I went outside and shoveled the ice. It came up a little easier than I thought it would. It helped that there was a think layer of snow underneath.
I went to work to tape the Trustees meeting. I was sure they were going to cancel the meeting as soon as I made it to work, but they didn't. I came home and finished knitting the bulk of my bag. All I have left is handles. I don't have enough yarn to use the same color so the handles are going to be white. It is going to be a knitting bag only; I'm not that big of a fan. I will show you the finished project when the handles are on.
Now for my sixth shirt. It is brown with blue and white stripes. In the stripes there are little "cloud" breaks. It is also from H&M and the NYC shopping spree. I like the little button on the upper left hand side, it's fun. I am also giving you the picture Ando took right away when I asked him to take the picture of me in my new striped shirt. Enjoy!
Ando scraped my car for me, I can't be mad for not getting a ring!

#5
I had the privilege of working 9 to 5 yesterday. I did all of my normal Monday tasks and went to a meeting with my boss and the township administrator.
After work I made some banana bread because we had 2 bananas that were starting to go bad. Ando and I also made turkey lettuce wraps and bok choy for Wint, Wendall, Teed, and Mo. Wint needed to come over anyway to record and mix with Ando so why not have everyone over. This is the first time we attempted this meal and it turned out surprisingly well. We will have to put it on the list to make again. In all of the commotion of making dinner the timer for the bread went off, which I didn't hear, but Ando must have. I am guessing he just hit the stop button and did nothing about it. Way way later I say the oven was on and was wondering why when I remembered the bread. Luckily it didn't get too over done and was still edible.
Everyone left and it was starting to snow with a little on the ground. I was hoping for the 5 inches and maybe not having to go to work. I then watched Crash by myself because Ando had already seen it. Teed told me it wasn't very good, but I watched it anyway. I liked it, but would not call it picture of the year. There was nothing ground breaking about the movie. I'm still glad
I saw it. It was now time for bed.
My 5th shirt is another 3/4 in. sleeve. It is black and blue from Gap. And once again I bought this shirt on clearance at the beginning of winter, end of fall. I am starting to see a pattern with me. I only buy clothes when they are on sale for really cheap. It is also another v-neck. I don't do many high necked shirts, they make me look bad.
Ando neglected the bread, he didn't make up for it with a ring.

Stripe 4
After our fancy dinner we watched the final episode of "Big Love" disc one. It was now about 9:45 and I was thinking about getting ready for my indoor soccer game. Yes, my game didn't start till 11:20pm. I decided at about 10pm that I wasn't going to go to my game. I wouldn't get home till almost 1am. That seemed really stupid to me so I didn't go. I went

Stripes 3
As you all know I had to get up at the butt crack of dawn yesterday for work. I had to be at work at 7am so my alarm went off at 6. I got to shoot some Jesus Basketball. It is a church league with a bunch of different local churches who play "friendly" basketball. There are no losers everyone is a winner in this league. They also play all their games on carpet and have a homily type speech at halftime. They learn about God while playing basketball. Very weird if you ask me.
After work I wanted to come home and take a little nap, but Ando had Wint and Teed over for some song recording and mixing. Instead I just sat on the couch and did some more knitting. The bag is almost finished, I just hope I have enough yarn. I don't know what I'll do if I run out. When everyone left I ended up taking a short 20 to 30 minute nap before getting ready to go out.
The five of us, Teed, Mo, Jenster, Ando and of course me, went out to dinner at The Hideaway. Hideaway is ok, but I have never found anything on the menu that I am really in love with. The one good thing about it is you can bring your own alcohol. I brought one of the beers I bought when I went to Jungle Jim's on Friday.
After eating dinner, where of course Teed saw someone he knew, we headed back to The Ridge for a bar. Mo was still up for going out so we thought we would hit up our winter bar of choice, Molly Malone's, but it was packed and there was no where to sit. We went across the street to Gas Light instead. We ended up leaving the bar around midnight. I'm not sure the last time Mo was
out that late, she must have gotten lots of sleep this week. It was a rare Saturday night where we can all go out together, Good Times!
My third striped shirt is this gray and white short sleeve shirt. I purchased this shirt at Gap, that is three striped shirts and all three came from different stores. This was a cheap $5 or $10 shirt I also purchased on clearance at the end of the summer season. I didn't get much wear out of it before the weather turned too cold for short sleeves. Hopefully I will get my full wear out of the shirt this spring and summer.
Ando played a song for me on his guitar, no marriage proposal in the lyrics.

Sweater 2
I am going to make this very short because it is like pulling teeth to get Ando to give me 5 minutes on the computer. I am sure I am interrupting something very important that is happening on the internet right now.
I worked another 9 to 5 day yesterday. My boss wanted to have a meeting with me so we went for a drive to get away from the office and ended up at Jungle Jim's. I didn't need anything from Jungle Jim's so I thought I would get out of there with a relatively small bill, but I was mistaken. I ended up buying $75 worth of stuff. Most of it was beer however. After work I was going to go to the library to return a few things, but then realized I forgot what I needed to return.
Ando wanted to go to happy hour last night, but no one else was up for it. Instead Ando, Jenster and I went out together. We decided to go to a bar for a drink before heading to a restaurant and dinner. The Pub at Rookwood was our first option, but it was packed. We then went to Oakley Pub and Grill and again couldn't even find a place to stand around the bar. Our third option was The Oak Tavern where we found a small table to sit at. We all had a round before heading to Asiana for dinner. Asiana was crowded as usual, but everyone was just getting their food or hadn't ordered yet and there was a party in front of us waiting to be seated. We abandoned Asiana and headed to Lemon Grass. There was hardly anyone at Lemon Grass and no wait, score! Dinner was quite tasty!
Jenster then dropped Ando and I off back home because I had to get up at the butt crack of dawn the next day for work. I didn't go to bed right away because I knew I wouldn't be able to
fall asleep.
Sweater number 2 is a blue and silver sweater I bought from Express a couple of years ago. I think I bought it for a family function since I can't wear the same thing twice to any family event, ask Ando all about it. I felt the silver made the sweater a little dressier. And just by coincidence it was the sweater I was wearing when I found out A n' P were pregnant with Li.
Ando made me put on a paper ring sizer, could it be getting close? No ring yesterday.

Sweater 1
Yesterday was pretty uneventful. Again I went to work in the morning and nothing exciting happened. I got home from work and did some knitting with the TV in the background. Ando told me he was going to be home late because he had some freelance work to do. He got home a little earlier than I had expected him. He wanted to watch some more "Big Love", but the Xavier game was going to start soon so I didn't want to do that. Xavier won, but by the skin of their teeth. My heart can't take wins on last second shots. I am going to have to stop being a sports fan.
Once again this is a boring post. I guess that means it is time to pull out my secret blog I have
been sitting on. I am going to wear a new striped shirt everyday, or at least blog about a new one, till I run out. Ando calls striped shirts my "uniform" because I have so many.
The first installment is this wide striped sweater I purchased from Old Navy last year, not Delia's. I found it on the clearance rack and couldn't pass it up. I always look at any striped top I see. It is a nice casual sweater for everyday wear.
I am running out of one liners, Ando didn't propose.

To Grow or Cut That is the Question?
I finally felt 100% yesterday. I went to work in the morning even though I have to work on Saturday and am supposed to have a day off. I decided since I was sick on Monday and still had to go to work I am going to take that time as overtime. I am not going to have a day off work till Sunday.
Work was pretty uneventful with nothing too big to report. I came home and did some cleaning
since I hadn't done anything around the house in 2 days due to my illness. Ando came home and made dinner for us. I put up a stink earlier in the day when Ando asked me what was for dinner. Why do I always have to come up with what we are eating for dinner. I went to work the same as him and I am the one getting over being sick. He got mad at me and ended up making dinner.
After eating we spent some QT together watching "Big Love". I just checked disc one of season two out from the library. See it is possible for Ando and I to be in the same room for more than 20 minutes. After "Big Love" I finished watching "Mythbusters" and then "Project Runway".
Since this blog is so short I am taking a poll wondering if I should cut my hair or grow it out.
Here is a picture of me with my hair shorter back in July. And one of my hair a little longer at Christmas. I feel like I should grow it out so I have more options if I get married, haha right, but I am also getting a little annoyed with it and kind of want to get it cut in a "long", not really long, but not shaving the back of my neck, bob. You can only vote once and all voting rates apply.
Ando got down on one knee..........to tie his new gym shoes, he didn't pop the question.

Day Alone
I started feeling a little better yesterday. I still wasn't 100%, but at least I wasn't as achy as I have been. I still didn't feel like eating a whole lot or trying to eat anything adventurous. I went with a simple bowl of oatmeal in the morning.
Before heading to work I stopped at the library to pick up my DVD on hold and return a few other materials. I looked through some other DVD's while I was there and decided to get Bee Season to watch after work while Ando was at band practice. And of course while I was in the library my cell phone rang. It is inevitable that my cell phone will ring when I am in the library, even if I am only there for 3 minutes. Apparently I am that person. I also stopped by Panera for some chicken soup and a coke. I told you I still wasn't feeling adventurous with food yet.
Work wasn't too bad since I just had to work one freshman boys basketball game. The game starts earlier in the day so I get off a little earlier too. After work, and missing Teed and Ando honking at me on my way home and while they were on their way to band practice, I ate a little dinner. I just had cheese and crackers. I watched Bee Season; there is nothing on TV on Tuesday nights. After Bee Season I watched GH, since I missed it earlier in the day, and did some knitting. Hopefully the bag will be done soon. I had to put it down for a couple of days because of lack of time and illness.
I read in bed and was ready to turn out the lights when Ando came home from practice. We talked a little and then I "tried" to get some sleep. I say "tried" because for some reason I didn't sleep very well last night. I don't think it was because of the storms either. I am just going to blame Ando because I can.
Ando had band practice which means he ate Taco Hell, I'm still in hell with no ring.

Lazy Sickness
Well as you can imagine yesterday sucked. After throwing up and feeling like shit I woke up about 6am to the feeling of wanting to throw up again. I stayed awake in the bathroom for about 45 minutes before deciding I just wasn't going to throw up again and I went back to bed. I woke up around 10 hoping I would feel better and be able to go to work, but around 11 I decided I was in no shape for work. I called in sick and then called Ando to see if he would bring me some Coke, emphasis on the "k". He had some stuff to do at work and said he wouldn't be able to come home till one, but that was fine with me.
I took a bath in the meantime and just laid in the tub soaking for half an hour. He came home with my coke, but had to leave right away to go back to work. I needed some food in my system since I threw it all up the night before so I ate some oyster crackers even though I didn't really feel like it. My boss then called me back and told me he couldn't find anyone to cover for me and wanted to see if there was anyway I could come into work. I decided I couldn't leave Meeike hanging and I would come to work, but just go straight to Lakota East and straight home. There would be no stopping in at the office.
The shoot was awful. I felt like crap the whole time and didn't want to be there at all. The games couldn't have gone fast enough. I came home took some Alka-Seltzer and did some reading before heading to bed and a good nights sleep, hopefully.
Ando bought me a Coke and Club Soda to help me feel better, but didn't make me feel better with a ring purchase.

Sick
I am sick today and don't even feel like lifting a finger to write this blog. That is why it is so late.
My short version of yesterday: Got up ate breakfast, an egg sandwich. Went to Fresh Market and shoe shopping with Ando. Came home made some appetizers for the Super Bowl party. Went to my family's Super Bowl party. It blew only five out of 20 people watched the whole game. Everyone else was loud and I couldn't hear a damn thing. Took my grandmother home and sat on the couch for about an hour. Went to bed and felt like shit. I awoke around 3:30-4:00am and proceeded to throw up 4 times.
Ando bought 2 pairs of shoes(I only bought one), he didn't buy me a ring instead.

Levee
I awoke early in the morning to go to work. I got to watch East Girls Basketball with DJ. The East Girls Team has won one game all year and they couldn't make it two on Saturday. After work I came home to an empty house. Ando was at his parents wiring up a new surround sound system for them.
Ando had started some bread before he left and asked me to finish it off when I got home. I rolled the dough out and formed the loaves so the bread could rise one last time. Ando came home and we got ready to go out to dinner with Teed and Mo. They came to our house so we could decide where we wanted to go. I saw Mo for the first time in a couple of weeks and I think I noticed a bump. I can only wait in anticipation for TMZ to hopefully confirm my suspicions that Mo indeed has a "baby bump". We thought we were going to go to the Tapas restaurant in East Walnut Hills, but Teed put up a stink and we decided we weren't dressed well enough.
While all this was going on the loaves of bread were baking away in the oven. We munched on some fresh baked bread before finally deciding to go to Newport on the Levee and make up our minds once we were down there. All of the Newport on the Levee lots were full and we had to find a spot on the street. We really didn't have to park as far away as I thought we were going to have to since all the lots were full. Once we were at the Levee we decided upon Cafe Istanbul, even though Ando told us it was closed. Clearly he was mistaken. The food was good and the restaurant not too crowded.
Our night ended with Teed and Mo dropping Ando and I off at our casa and calling it a night. We were all a little tired from the night before, but I had more of an excuse than anyone, I had to get up earlier in the day.
I gave myself a headache with a glass of wine, Ando didn't make it go away with a ring.

Dinner Adventure
I have decided I made it a month and blogged everyday. It is now time for Ando to get me whatever I want. Should I go with the XBox 360 or a digital SLR camera? I will let you know which one I have chosen and your suggestions are always welcome.
I was off work yesterday so I could work on Saturday. I was originally going to work from 10 to noon because I had to go to a Blue Chip meeting, but my boss told me I didn't need to go and I could have the whole day off. I had to go to my parents one last time to check on the cats in the morning. After my rents house I went to Old Navy where I was going to take back a pair of jeans and buy two more. Last time I was there they were having a 2 for sale. I didn't have such luck this time around. There was no sale so I didn't return the jeans. I then headed to Target to take back another pair of jeans I had bought. While I was there I also bought some household
essentials. Oh, and some mice for Murphy. He has worn out his other mice. When I was finished at Target I headed to Meijer to pick up a few things for my family's Super Bowl party on Sunday. I bought myself some flowers too. I can't wait for Ando to buy them for me, I have to do it myself. I saw the flowers right when I walked in and decided I wanted a little spring in the house so I bought them. I also got my mom a gift card for her birthday, which was the 1st. Happy Birthday Mom!
I came home and started putting away all the groceries when I noticed a bag filled with two items I didn't purchase, tortilla chips and stir fry sauce. I didn't know whether I should take them back to Meijer since I didn't pay for them or just keep them. Ando told me I won the lottery and I should just keep them. Is this stealing? Someone else paid for them I just happened to be the lucky one to take the items home. It is strange too because those are two items we would actually buy.
After putting all the groceries away I started cleaning the house. Our neighbors were coming over before we all went out to dinner so I needed to make a good impression. It wasn't too messy though. The neighbors, N² & Evian, came over for some hummus and veggies before heading off to dinner at Chalk Food + Wine. I made reservations the night before for 8:30pm. When we got to Chalk it was crowded and the hostess told us they were running a little behind on reservations and it would be a little bit. She told us we could have a drink at the bar while we were waiting, but the problem was you couldn't get to the bar there were too many people. After about 20 minutes of waiting we decided to go ask how long it would be before we were seated and in the background we heard a guy say they had 7:30 reservations and they still hadn't been sat. Not a good sign. We asked anyway how long it would be and the hostess said she wasn't allowed to give a time, but there were still 4 people ahead of us waiting to be seated. Needless to say we left. We didn't even tell them we were leaving, but I have a feeling they were grateful. I don't know what the point of the reservation was; they should just not take any.
We decided to go to Shanghai Mama's downtown instead. Unbelievably it was crowded downtown and we couldn't find a place to park. Now we moved to plan C. Back toward our houses and Baba for dinner. By this point we were starving and just wanted some food. We were so late we closed the place down. Dinner was good as always and N² & Evian were a good dinner date. All in all it turned out to be a fun evening meeting and hanging out with our new neighbors.
Ando and I then met up with Jenster to head for the bar and a couple of drinks. Teed met us at our favorite winter hang out, Molly Malone's. For some reason we only go there in the winter. There were a bunch of rowdy drunk dudes singing along with the Irish band. They knew every Irish song and where to chime in with their own fun little parts. At one point they were yelling "Fuck You" and there was a little kid in the bar. Anything goes when you are drunk though. We made it home around 2am and I went straight to bed because I had to get up in the morn.
I won with free tortilla chips and sauce, Ando didn't help me win a ring.

Finally
I went to work in the morning again yesterday. I finished up the Blue Chip entries and got the DVD printer up and running again. While I was eating lunch our secretary asked if she could have Friday off work and my boss wanted to know why. The reason she gave was that she wanted to sleep in. I can't believe this is a valid reason. Maybe I should try it someday.
I came home from work and Jenster stopped by to drop off a DVD about people running marathons. All of the people in the documentary were non active. If they can run a marathon then why can't I. I'll tell you why, I'm not motivated enough. I don't know if I will ever feel motivated to run a marathon. Especially since you have to run over the winter when it is freezing and snowy.
Ando and I ate dinner and I had a glass of wine. We also split a brownie bowl thing, it was so cute. Then we went our separate ways. I did some knitting followed by the marathon video and then back to more knitting. I read before bed like always and finished "Life of Pi". I am going to say that I don't recommend this book. It is very repetitive and slow moving. I felt like the same thing was written over and over and over. It was a pretty uneventful day, but it was my turn for one.
Ando finally did it................................he made me a mix CD for my car, not a marriage proposal.
